Digital Manager handles all current data formats, including multimedia, and these files can be attached to any document type from any HOLMES 2 workstation. And, following the same basic business process as HOLMES 2, there’s minimal disruption, easier implementation.
Uniquely, files can be added direct to the exhibit records from any HOLMES 2 workstation, without needing to create documents and cross-references. So, all the original material associated with an exhibit is viewable at the click of a mouse.
Once you’ve scanned your document direct from a HOLMES 2 workstation, any registered user can view the scanned image immediately, slashing waiting time, maximizing availability. Meanwhile, automatic offline OCR converts it to a searchable digital image.
After automatic OCR, text from scanned material requires just one click to be added to the Typing Service. The time and expense of manual entry is cut, leaving you in control and existing business process intact.
Finally, our ‘one view’ Viewfinder function lets you see everything associated with a particular item, including the original file attachment, linked documents, document status, and more. Then, you can filter and sort what you want, either manually or by using an automatic selector.
